With a burly alloy frame and a high-pivot suspension design, the Session 8 keeps you planted, nimble, and insanely fast through rock gardens, drops, and punishing descents.
If you practically live at the bike park and crave a fast, traction-packed DH bike, the Session 8 delivers in spades. Its 200mm of rear travel paired with a Marzocchi Bomber shock and a 200mm RockShox Boxxer fork (with plush DebonAir+ spring and Rush RC damper) smooths out even the gnarliest lines. Add in Maven Bronze 4-piston brakes for unbeatable stopping power and a SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain for bombproof shifting — and you’ve got a bike that’s built to dominate.
The Session’s high-pivot design results in a rearward axle path that lets the wheel move naturally over obstacles, keeping your momentum flowing and suspension feeling smoother, faster, and more controlled. Less hang-up means more speed — simple as that.
Out of the box, the Session 8 rolls on 29” wheels for maximum speed and stability. But if you prefer a more playful, park-ready ride, you can switch it up — run a mullet setup (29” front, 27.5” rear) or go 27.5” front and rear for maximum agility and flickability.
Thanks to Mino Link adjustments on both geometry and suspension, you can easily customize your setup. Go progressive and firm for race days, or softer and slacker for park laps — it’s your ride, your way.
