Introducing the Penthouse Flat MK5—the next evolution in flat pedal performance. Built on nearly two decades of relentless refinement and rider feedback, the MK5 takes everything that made its predecessors legendary and turns it up a notch.
Born on the root-riddled slopes of Schladming back in 2003, the original MK1 was never about chasing trends. It was about solving problems. By the time we hit the MK4, we had already set a benchmark. Now, the MK5 pushes it further—with more grip, a larger platform, reduced weight, and a bulletproof construction that laughs in the face of abuse.
We’ve shaved 65g per pair from the MK4, expanded the platform by 7%, added a deeper 2mm concave dish, and slimmed the pin width to 3.5mm—delivering a locked-in ride feel without compromise.

Every design decision was driven by rider input and on-trail testing. From fine-tuning Q-factors for optimal crank-to-foot positioning to experimenting with every flat pedal shoe out there, the MK5 is built to work with you, not against you.
Inside, it's just as dialled. We’ve fitted the MK5 with Igus W300 “Endurance Runner” bushings, the gold standard in wear-resistance. Combined with a fully sealed bearing and oil-sealed internals, these pedals are designed to shrug off the worst conditions—keeping grit out and performance in, ride after ride.
