The Minion DHF Folding 3C TR EXO+ tyre from Maxxis is specifically designed for aggressive all-mountain terrain that is often loose and muddy. It features ramped knobs for reduced rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to enhance grip, allowing for precise cornering and straight-line control. This tyre has a directional, ramped knob design and a lightweight, single-ply casing. It is compatible with both front and rear applications. The Minion DHF is suitable for loose over hard, loose, medium, and wet conditions. When it comes to cornering control and rolling efficiency, the Minion DHF rates high. It has a TPI of 120 and a foldable bead for easy installation. The ply construction is single, and the tyre uses the 3C Maxx Terra compound. The Maxx Terra compound is an intermediate configuration that offers softer, more traction compared to Maxx Speed, while still providing better treadwear and less rolling resistance than Maxx Grip. This tyre is tubeless ready, meaning it can be used without a tube. It allows for lower air pressures, improves traction and rolling resistance, and reduces the chance of flatting. The Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide these benefits without increasing the weight. A liquid sealant is required to make the tyre airtight. The EXO+ technology used in this tyre combines Maxxis' SilkShield and EXO puncture protection materials. This combination increases tread puncture protection by 27%, sidewall durability by 51%, and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.
