The Maxxis Minion DHR II Folding 3C DH TR tyre is a redesign that improves acceleration, cornering, and braking. This tyre features shoulder knobs borrowed from the Minion DHF, but beefed up to handle the rear tyre duties. The centre tread is heavily ramped and siped for fast rolling and straight tracking under braking. For the ultimate aggressive riding combo, pair the DHR II with the Minion DHF.This tyre offers excellent braking and cornering traction. It is suitable for hardpack, loose, loose over hard, and medium conditions. The cornering control and rolling efficiency are rated on a scale of 1 to 4. The tyre has a 60 TPI (threads per inch) and a folding bead. It features 3C Maxx Grip compound for ultimate grip and slow rebound properties. The dual ply construction provides additional protection and sidewall stiffness. The tyre is also tubeless ready, allowing for lower air pressures, reduced rolling resistance, and less chance of flatting.Maxxis has designed this tyre to offer the best performance for downhill applications. The 3C Maxx Grip compound provides unparalleled traction, while the dual ply casing ensures added protection and stiffness.
