Blazing Bikes Warranty Procedure

Firstly, thank you for choosing Blazing Bikes for your new bike purchase. We know how important it is to stay on the road or trail, and we do everything possible to make sure your bike performs perfectly from day one.

Before delivery, every bike is fully assembled, pre-delivery inspected (PDI’d), and test-checked by our qualified technicians. We also hand-deliver all bikes to ensure they arrive in full working order and that there’s no confusion about home assembly or setup.

Despite our best efforts, issues can occasionally arise. When they do, we’re here to help and aim to handle all warranty claims fairly, efficiently, and in full compliance with UK consumer law.

If You Have a Warranty Issue

If you think there’s a problem with your bike that might be covered under warranty:

  1. Contact us first – either by phone or email – explaining the issue. We may ask for clear photos or a short video to help us assess it.
  2. We’ll then review the issue and let you know whether it appears to be a valid warranty claim.
  3. If a warranty replacement part is required and suitable for self-fitment, we can post it to you.
  4. If the issue requires inspection, fitting, or mechanical work, you will need to bring the bike back to our store so that our Cytech-trained mechanics can carry out the relevant work.
    • This ensures the repair is completed correctly, safely, and in line with the manufacturer’s warranty requirements.
  5. Once the work is completed, we’ll get you back riding as quickly as possible.

Please note:
If you choose to have warranty work carried out elsewhere, that workshop may charge you for labour, as we can only cover the cost of work undertaken by Blazing Bikes under the terms of our policy.

Important Warranty Information

  • This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase will be required.
  • Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy.
  • Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
    • Misuse, neglect, poor maintenance, incorrect installation or assembly.
    • Use of the bike for purposes other than intended (e.g. competition use unless stated by the manufacturer).
    • Alteration or modification of components without written approval from Blazing Bikes.
    • Normal wear and tear of consumable parts such as tyres, tubes, brake pads, cables, chains, chainrings, cassettes, rims, etc.
    • Corrosion or material fatigue resulting from long-term use.
  • Any replacement or repaired item supplied under warranty will be covered for the remaining period of the original warranty.
  • If a repair or replacement is not possible, we reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary) or a partial refund reflecting the remaining life of the product.
  • Blazing Bikes will not be liable for consequential losses, including loss of use or transport costs, unless required by law.

Summary

  1. Report the issue – call or email us with details (photos/videos may help).
  2. Assessment – we’ll confirm whether it’s a valid warranty claim.
  3. Resolution
    • If it’s a simple parts issue, we’ll send the replacement.
    • If mechanical work or inspection is needed, bring your bike to our store.
