Trek warranty

Warranty procedure for all bikes:

Firstly thanks for choosing Blazing Bikes for the purchase of your new bike. Nobody wants to be off their bike for a prolonged period of time and it's alway a pain when something goes wrong, so we do our very best to make sure that all warranty claims are handled as quickly as possible.

Prior to delivery of your new bike we build, PDI and check every aspect of it to make sure that it's ready to ride. We also hand deliver all of our bikes to make sure that you receive them in full working order and that's there's no grey area with regards to it being assmbled at home. We get how frustrating warranty problems can be and our aim is to assess any problems, find a resolution and get you back out riding as quickly as we can. As with all warranty though there are some things you need to know:

If you do unfortunately have a warranty issue, we're here to help! You don't need to trawl forums for an answer or phone a friend, get in touch straight away with any issue you have and we'll do our very best to rectify it for you. Sometimes you might require a new part or frame component, but we can process all of this for you. If you're not happy installing the relevant part yourself we can do this in store and one of our Cy-Tech trained mechanics will get you rolling again as quickly as possible.

Please note that we will always offer to rectify any genuine warranty issues you might have and we always want the first opportunity to rectify these in store, so you will need to bring your bike to us for the relevant work to be carried out. If you choose to use another retailer to carry out the warranty work, they might charge you labour to do so.

Our policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Blazig Bikes does not warrant against failure or damage due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose, alteration of the product unless expressly permitted in writing by Blazing Bikes.

Blazing Bikes does not cover general wear and tear on tyres, inner tubes, brakes, brake and gear cables, brake pads, chain rings, chains, cassettes, rims, etc.

Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use will not be covered under warranty.

Warranty is non transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims. (This may vary depending on manufacturer)

Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original part.

Usage during competitions, events, circuits or activities other than those for which the bicycle/component has been conceived will greatly reduce its useful life and is not covered under warranty.

Costs incurred as a result of loss of use, as well as labour charges for part replacement or changeovers are not covered.

If a repair/replacement is not possible Blazing Bikes reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value (colour may vary) or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.

Always install, repair and use your product in strict compliance with the product's instructions; failure to do so might damage the products and cause a serious accident.
